A $750.00 security damage cash or check retainer is required to hold a date at Wunderland. This deposit will be held in reserve in the event of damages or cancellations. If the facility is left in acceptable condition, both inside and outside, the retainer will be returned within 14 working days after the event has taken place. One-half of the retainer is refundable if cancellation is made within 30 days of signing the contract. The $750.00 security damage retainer is non-refundable after 30 days of signing the contract.
180 days prior to the event, a one-third payment is due based on your estimated number of guests and on your package selection. Children under 2 years of age are free. At the time of this payment, your package price becomes guaranteed. If the one-third payment is not received within 10 days of the due date, the contract becomes null and void. All payments are non refundable.
A final guest count and remaining balance is required 14 days before the event is scheduled. Should the final "in attendance" guest count be larger than estimated, we shall do all we can to accommodate them. An additional charge based on the number of extra guests will be made.
There is a minimum spending requirement in order to reserve the facility on Saturday evenings in May through October. A minimum of 75 guests is required for any other event/ time at Wunderland.
Wunderland reserves the right to inspect and control all parties and functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly including all damages incurred by limousines, charter buses, etc. on property.
All payments may be made by cash, check, Visa or Master Card. There is no charged gratuity by Wunderland. If you are happy with the service you receive, the staff would greatly appreciate any gratuity offered at your discretion. Please see the banquet manager at the end of your event. All food items will be supplied and prepared by Wunderland with the exception of special occasion cakes. No food may leave the premises except those cakes.
Wunderland is responsible for the administration of the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages in accordance with rules and regulations by the State of Ohio. All liquor, wine, champagne and beer must be supplied by Wunderland and will be charged accordingly. Any alcoholic beverages brought onto the premises are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. State law prohibits the consumption of alcohol by persons under 21, including persons in the wedding party. No alcoholic beverages may leave the premises.
If Wunderland offers the extra amenity, then it should be reserved through Wunderland. Please ask a Wunderland representative for clarification.
Applicable sales tax (6.75%) will be applied to all food and beverages.
Tacks, staples, tape and nails cannot be used when decorating. Also rice, confetti, glitter, bubbles, fog/haze machines and birdseed are prohibited. Extra decorations are subject to Wunderland's approval.
Wunderland is not responsible for personal property or any equipment that is brought into our facility.
Wunderland is a non-smoking facility. We have a beautiful deck and gazebo for guests who prefer to smoke. Our unique landscaping includes two ponds.
Doors to Wunderland will open 15 minutes prior to the event unless other arrangements have been made.
Wunderland reserves the right to schedule events for both the afternoon and evening in the same day. Hall viewing and set-up will be limited under such circumstances. Vendors (dj, bakery, florist, etc.) may arrive no earlier than two hours before the contracted start time of your event. All other arrangements are subject to additional charges. Please notify your vendors of the set-up time in advance.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Price increase not to exceed 5% for events booked within a year.
